I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your grandmother. Like my Mom she had a good long life. I hope your memories give you comfort during this time. Thanks for your sympathy card.

I wasn't aware she was your Grandmother; I am related through the Russell line- (Mom was Gladys E. Russell Varnum) and I always referred to her as Aunt Clara. When I was a youth, I would stop at her and Lois's house for a cold drink from their well after playing ball at Hoddy's (Ovitt).
She made one reunion (Russell's) after we had finished renovating Mom's old house on Truesdale.
She was a unique and very determined lady that will be missed by all.

I remember the twinkle in Clara's eyes and her wonderful dry sense of humor.Her love for her cats and her garden.We will miss her very much.

Clara and her Sunday School Classes meant a great deal to me as a child.All the Christmas programs,churchcamps,and sunday school outings she organized and provided transportation for were a great part of my growing up. We will miss her.
