Mrs. Egan was one of most loving and caring person that I had the honor to know..My grandson attended her classroom and she had the stamina of a saint. She guided him and loved him and I grew to love her. I am very heart broken over not knowing she passed and I wasn't able to get there..I know she is soaring with the angles and my grandson who always had to go and see her when the yard sale was running will miss her..He loved her so much..What a blessing she was to all of us. Mrs. Egan I will miss you always..You are a dear friend

I met Trudi at Pilgrim Camp, Brant Lake, NY in 1951 where I visited most summers for 20 years. She was a good friend and a lovely person. After losing track of her for 40 years, we recently reconnected via Face Book and played Word with Friends; she was an excellent player. I am so sad to hear she is gone. She brought much joy into my life and into the world at large. I will miss her but am glad we got back in touch in recent years. Safe in the arms of Jesus, I believe. A woman of quality and faith. Adieu. Ken Kalis

Eric and Mike, Kathryn and I were so sorry to learn of Trudi's passing. We remember Trudi fondly from being stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. Her love of dogs was evident. She was always so happy to keep our dog Sunshine when we traveled, and would sometimes come over just to see him when we were home. We lost Fred also to cancer in 2011. Your life will never the the same here without her, but in time, it can be good again, and she would want that for you. And one day, you have the hope in Jesus of seeing her again.

Dear Michael, Ric and Molly, Thank you for sharing such a wonderful lady! Trudi's spirit was AMAZING and her love for ALL of you and ALL previous beagles, Missy beagle & Dandy, in particular ran SO DEEP. I don't think I would have survived Ft. Drum without Trudi, God's honest truth. May her heart of gold, her teaching with profound love and her love of family stay with you FOREVER. This is truly a day of sadness, yet a day I know she has no more pain or tears. Thanks for the memories, Jane, Caitlin and Family...Ft. Drum, Bassett St. How appropriate we lived on THAT street.
