Rusty, our cherished brother-in-law, embodied a warmth that touched everyone around him. His kindness was as broad as his smile, his sense of humor an endless delight. Rusty was generous to his core; selfless and thoughtful in every gesture. A kind soul now at rest, he will live on in my heart. I have so many cherished memories of family get togethers , cookouts and picnics at their house or Minerva beach, holidays and birthdays. So many precious memories where he lives on. I pray your memories help all of you through this most difficult time.

Dear Rusty,
I hope you know how much I have appreciated your presence in our family from the very beginning. Jerry and I always enjoyed getting together with you and Mickey 'way back then' - and ever since, as our families have grown.
You and Mickey were always ready, willing, and able to help with ANYTHING that was asked of you by any of us - including helping to move truckloads of furniture from one storage unit to another on a moment's notice and taking my cats, Sugar and Spice, for 10 WEEKS during the pandemic when my townhouse flooded!!
I am so glad that I stopped by that warm, sunny afternoon five weeks ago when you and MIckey and I sat in the backyard of your beautiful new home and had such a lovely conversation - while keeping an eye on Lacy and Gabby.
Rest assured that your memory will be treasured by all of us. Sugar and Spice will also miss you!
Love,
Colleen

Uncle Rusty was an amazing uncle and a wholeheartedly genuine person. I have many childhood memories celebrating family members birthdays and special occasions with him, Aunt Mickey and the girls. In recent years when my husband and I would return to NY to visit family we made a routine to spend an afternoon bowling. Uncle Rusty and Aunt Mickey would always attend and share in the silliness and laughs that would occur. I will miss these visits the most. We will forever have an angel watching over us.

Rusty was a highly disciplined rifleman and competitor. His talent and knowledge with rifle, sighting, ammunition choice, shooting attire, breathing and even keen awareness of heartbeat during trigger-break to enhance accuracy was incredible. Rusty exuded class and patience while selflessly taking time to coach me at his extremely high level of skill. I thoroughly appreciate his mentorship. I won't forget the lessons he instilled and will cherish those memories.

Aunt Mickey and the girls, I'm holding my memories of Uncle Rusty and each of you close in my heart. I'm grateful for all of our family get togethers when we were kids. Riding snowmobiles up to Pack Forest, and Uncle Rusty's presence at all of our softball games are memories I will always treasure. Love you.
