Andi was my best friend in junior high school. We lost touch sometime after my family moved away. I recently came across a pile of letters she wrote me our first year in high school. They were so full of young Andi's zest for life that I wondered if I could find her to give them back. I am so sad to learn that she is no longer on this earth with us. To her family, please accept my sincerest sympathy for your loss. She was a wonderful young friend and I'm sure was always a fiercely loyal family member and friend. Rest in peace Andi.

I haven't seen Andi in years, but spent many a Summer Solstice with her when her children were young, babies, toddlers, little boys. I admired her. She was loving, caring and always smiling. She is someone I will never forget. I know she will be forever missed by her kids and her family and anyone who knew her, me included. I am so sorry for such a great loss to her family, and all the rest of us her knew her. Godspeed.

Dear Family, I haven't seen Andi since high school, but it is wonderful to hear her bright light was never dimmed in life. Andi was great fun in high school--and kind, and funny. I'm sad for all of you who shared her daily life at this time, but happy, too, because you had so many years of joy knowing her well.

I'm sad to miss the celebration of Andi's life. She was one of the first people we met when we moved here, and a mentor as we had babies a week apart (Trav!). Always an inspiration to me, as I was blown away by how darn smart she was! Our "go to" person for anything related to Middle Eastern studies or computers, as we homeschooled our kids. A true kindred spirit as homesteaders here in the Adks. We will miss you, Andi!

Kind friends all gathered 'round, there's something I would say That what brings us together here has blessed us all today. Love has made a circle that holds us all inside Where strangers are as family, loneliness can't hide You must give yourself to love if love is what you're after Open up your hearts to the tears and laughter And give yourself to love, give yourself to love . I've walked these mountains in the rain and learned to love the wind; I've been up before the sunrise to watch the day begin I always knew I'd find you, though I never did know how; Like sunshine on a cloudy day stand before me now So give yourself to love if love is what your're after. Andi is the very picture of love and compassion, intelligence and humor, full of life and music and good cooking. Always ready to listen, to hug, to swim, a loaner of good books, of sacred time, generous with knowledge and wisdom. The world will never be the same. Godspeed.

Andi was a true, good life force! Gifted with a robust intellect to match her huge, warm heart, she could accomplish anything within her sights. Andi could nurture greatness from a seed, whether an idea or one of her beloved sons! It is some consolation to know her soul lives on in these stellar young men. Perhaps, someday, too, a wise granddaughter will grace the world with pieces of Andi's beauty, worldliness, compassion, and can-make-it-grown talent!! I hope so. Thank you for everything, Andi!!
