Lisa was a dear friend and I will miss her emails and visits with her when I was in Syracuse. We worked together at Bird Library and she shared my home for over a year in the early 90's.. We had many good times that I will fondly remember.
My deepest sympathy to her family.

I'm picking wildflowers today in Lisa's honor. She had a strong love of life and a great laugh. I'm sorry for her recent struggles with health. Joe will probably help her move into heaven, if he hasn't already. Love, Annie

I have so many great memories of Lisa! We sailed on Lake Harris.
We painted rocks.
We blasted the album "Best of Bread" when it first came out.
But most of all, we talked for hours solving the problems of the world !
I will truly miss her !!!!

My condolences to the Stubings' family and relatives.
Lisa’s friends are sharing your loss. My prayers are with her and with all of you. Lisa had the talent of becoming a real friend and became friends with many. Her optimism in life had no boundaries. She was a fighter, was fighting until the last moment trying not to lose self-control and clarity of judgment.
I will be missing times spent together with Lisa, all the arguments that we had. Will never forget her phrase “let me tell you something”, which to me was the beginning for an excuse not to take whatever had been said, and to which I would always add “yes, tell me something”.
I have always been amazed by the amount of kindness that Lisa had in her heart towards her surroundings, not only humans, but also flowers, trees, he beloved animals. She was humanizing all of them.
It is difficult to find the right words for this difficult moment, but I am very happy that I had the luxury of knowing Lisa for about eight years, and being friends with her.

Such a shock to me that Lisa has now joined my Deb in what I would call their peaceful journey but they will comfort each other. I remember Lisa as a little girl mostly as I do Debbie playing in Lake Harris what happy times those were. R.I.P. Lisa. Love and sympathy to Steve, Sand , Rita and all of Lisa's friends. Olga
