Marilyn A. Griffen, 78, of Elm Street, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 22, 2018 at her home following a long illness.
Born in Brooklyn on March 13th, 1940, to the late Wallace and Mary Etta (MacArthur) Stout.
Survived by her daughter Dee Lane, son Drew Lane, granddaughters Halse Terrell and Corley Pecue, and her great grandchildren, who she cherished.
Marilyn cared for many people over her lifetime, opening her home to family and strangers alike. She will be fondly remembered for her selfless and endless love of people, her family and her animals. A mom, a grandparent and the very best friend.
Friends may call on Marilyn’s family from 2 to 4 pm, Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
At her request, there are no funeral services scheduled.
