I had the privilege of knowing this man over the last few yrs because he lived across the street from me. I never knew him before alzheimer's but because of the field I had worked in I was able to connect with him and understand him. Its a very frustrating illness and my heart goes out to his family and I hope he is now resting in peace and is now able to express himself in ways he had always tried so very hard to do.
