Morgan H. Morehouse, 81 of Grand Ave., passed away peacefully, Monday, May 28, 2007 at his home with his family at his side.
Born November 21, 1925 in Johnsburg, he was the son of the late Horatio and Alice (Dalaba) Morehouse.
Morgan was a lifelong resident of the area. He served his country well in the US Navy during WW II.
He was a construction worker and truck driver by trade and also bartended at night.
His favorite passed times were spending time with his family, raising dogs and live stock and tending to his flower garden.
Besides his parents, his children, Morgan, Wanda and Betty Morehouse; two brothers, Ralph and Dale Millington; and sisters, Louise Clardy, Jesse Haire and Myrtle Morehouse have all predeceased him.
Survivors include his two sons, Bobby Morehouse and his wife, Tammy, Mike Morehouse and his wife, Tina all of Warrensburg; his daughter, Amy McByrne and her fiancé, Charles Olden of Glens Falls; grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla, Katelyn Morehouse, Ashlie and Mika Morehouse, and Morgan Olden; step grandchildren, Michaela, Danielle, Jonathan Marcote; and nephew, Marvin Millington.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family with Sister Linda Hogan of St. Cecilia’s RC Church in Warrensburg officiating.
Memorials may take the form of donations to High Peaks Hospice.
