Obituary of Louis V. Gallego

Please share a memory of Louis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Diamond Point: The world lost a truly wonderful man when Louis V. Gallego passed at Glens Falls Hospital on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, with his wife Theresa at his side. Theresa and Lou, both 97, have been married for over 77 years. It is a true love story and testament of what we all can be when we find our soul-mate: one in spirit, mind, and unconditional love. Lou and Theresa are truly one. Uncle Lou will be remembered for his big, caring heart and sense of humor. A true outdoorsman, Uncle Lou and Aunt “Te” lived in Diamond Point for nearly 40 years, enjoying all the North Country offered. As a young man, Lou faithfully served his country during World War II. Lou is survived by his wife Theresa (Te, Terri), many loving and devoted family members, and even many more friends. The world’s loss by Lou’s passing is heaven’s gain, An even greater gain is ours, knowing Lou, God’s gift to all of us! Friends may call on Lou’s family from 12 till 2pm Saturday, March 10 at St. Cecilia’s Church, 3804 Main St., Warrensburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2pm, following the visitation. Lou and Theresa’s friend, Fr. Paul Cox, will preside. In lieu of flowers, simply love each other and have lots of laughs. Please visit www.alexanderfh.net for online guest book and condolences.
