Obituary of Jesse A. Bradway

North Creek: Jesse A. Bradway, 47, of Owens Road, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Glens Falls Hospital after being stricken at his home. Born January 16, 1969 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Erwin and Leita (Granger) Bradway. Following his graduation from Johnsburg Central School in 1986, he began working for Northeast Rail in Saratoga. He worked his way up through the ranks, most recently working as a foreman. He made many friends in his time with the railroad, many of whom he considered family. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter’s, Jesika and Harlee, as well as fishing and listening to his favorite music, Metallica. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by three sisters, Patricia Bradway, Gloria Ferguson, and Sharon DuRose Whitaker. He is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Rebecca Bradway of North Creek; his children, Jesika and Harlee Bradway of North Creek; brothers, Roscoe (Patricia) Bradway of North Creek, Lawrence (Sandy) Bradway of Whitehall, David (Mary) Bradway of Pottersville, and Erwin (Laura) Bradway, Jr., and Walter Bradway all of North Creek; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends may call on Jesse’s family from 5 to 6 pm, Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Sodom Community Church, Johnsburg. A memorial service to celebrate his life will immediately follow the visitation at 6 pm, at the church with Rev. Ronald Allen, Pastor, officiating.
