Obituary of Lee Lorraine Combs

Warrensburg: Lee Lorraine Combs, formerly of Warrensburg and Queensbury, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Largo Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen Fitzgerald. Lee attended Our Lady of Victories and Snyder High School, before obtaining her degree at Pratt Institute. She was employed by Warrensburg Central School, Travelers Insurance, as well as many other side jobs. Lee was active in many organizations, including the PTA, Mothers March, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW, and Eagles. She is survived by her three children, Susan Aratare and her husband, Steven, of N. Truro, MA, Richard Combs of Largo, FL, and Gail Olden and her fiancé, Slugger Corlew, of Warrensburg; grandchildren, Darcy Baker and her husband, Gary, of Warrensburg, James Combs of Seminole, FL, John Olden, III of Glens Falls, and Jeremy Combs of Myrtle Beach, SC; great-grandchildren, MacKenzie, Michael, and Maclane Baker, Haley and Kasey Combs, and Shiloh Marshall; great-great-granddaughter, Sadeigh Fish. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her special friends, Alice, Marty, Fran, Lilian, Anne, Mary, Bonnie, Debbie, Maryann, Jackie, Joanne, John, and Yvonne. At Lee’s request services were held privately. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Lee’s memory to the C.R.
