Obituary of Janice M. Bederian

Janice M. Bederian, 55, of Monte Vista Drive, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, November 15, 2013 at her home due to natural causes.
Born February 1, 1958 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Edith Baker.
Janice was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Warrensburg Central School.
Following a decade long courtship, she married Paul “Pete” Bederian on October 27, 1985 in Raymond, NH.
Janice was employed by several local businesses; as a bartender at The Pillars, a bus driver for Head Start, and enjoyed working with her hands, soldering circuit boards for medical devices for many years. Most recently she worked for various local catheter assembly companies in the Glens Falls area and served food for Meals on Wheels at the Warrensburg meal site; where she took great pride in caring for the many friends she made along the way.
Besides spending time with her family, Janice enjoyed cooking and hosting memorable New Years parties. She also liked crafting, baking cakes for special occasions, camping with her family at Crane pond, and traveling for her son, Jake’s numerous Pee Wee wrestling matches.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Jean and Edie along with her beloved dog, Captain.
Janice is survived by her two favorite men, her husband of 29 years, Paul “Pete” Bederian and her son, Jake Bederian, both of Warrensburg; her siblings, Robert Baker, Jr. and his wife, Sue of Thurman, Richard Baker of Kingsbury, Shirley Russell and her husband, Bernard of Bolton Landing, Joan Proctor of Thurman, and Marty Baker and his wife, Emily of FL. She also leaves behind a large extended family, including several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her four legged friends, Lovey and Baby Girl.
At Janice’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled.
Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of her family.
