Obituary of Lori A. French

WARRENSBURG: Lori A. (Hurlburt) French, 53 years old of Warrensburg, NY unexpectedly joined her mother in heaven on February 28, 2024.

Lori was born on September 23, 1970 in Albany, NY to George Hurlburt and the late Brenda (McDonald) Hurlburt. Lori graduated from Albany High School and directly entered the workforce. She was a medical coder with St. Peters Healthcare, a server at Gore Mountain and most recently enjoyed making her customers happy at New Way Lunch in Warrensburg. 

Lori found pleasure in hiking, camping and spending as much time outside as possible. However, her time spent with family filled her with most joy.

“Your life was a shining example of Live, Laugh & Love.  Your warm spirit touched the hearts of all who knew you, offering solace and support in time of need.  Your adventurous nature led us on many camping trips, where your light illuminated our paths.  Though your time with us was too brief, the impact you made will endure forever.  You remain a guiding light in our memories, a beacon of hope in times of darkness.  Your legacy of love and compassion continues to inspire and console us.  Rest in peace, knowing that your memory will never fade and that you will always hold a special place in our hearts. You will be forever remembered.”

Left to cherish her memory are her children; son Antonio and his fiancé Sophia Ogden of Hudson Falls and daughter Brittney (Chris) Honsinger of Troy, NY; father George Hurlburt of Ticonderoga; sister Anna Hurlburt of Schroon Lake; brothers Roy French of Colonie, Bruce French of Colonie and Michael (Deb) Somma; grandson Suede Ogden of Hudson Falls; niece Desiree (Andrew) McCall of Minerva; nephews Travis Hurlburt of Chestertown, NY and Zachary Fifield of Schroon Lake and several cousins.

Friends are welcome to call on Lori’s family, Noon – 3pm, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg, NY. A memorial service will be held following calling hours at 3pm.
