During this time she witnessed the need for a food pantry and a linen closet to assist area residents. Fay was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Warrensburg, serving as a deacon. She was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a 25 year member of the Glens Falls Hospital Guild.

She liked to shop and eat at any restaurant. The Golden Corral was a favorite stop. She enjoyed swimming and boating, she was a great cook, baker and she enjoyed her flowers. Fay liked to go for car rides, especially, visiting the areas where she and Morgan grew up.

Fay was devoted to her family and enjoyed attending any activity that her grandchildren or great grandchildren were participating in. She became a knowledgeable official in most sports.

Fay and Morgan liked to travel and visited both Canada and Mexico. They traveled across the United States dipping their toes in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Some of their favorite trips were to the Maine Coast.

Her family would like to thank the staff at the Elderwood Care Facility in North Creek for their compassionate care during her stay.
