We are utterly saddened to hear of Ray's passing. May the Lord welcome him with open arms. Ray is someone for whom words truly fail. He is most remarkable for never ending up in any one camp or side, he embraced conversation and understanding with all others. He always stayed in the game. In part, this is shown in his unstinting donation of his time, energy and thoughts with so many worthy groups and causes. I don't think there would have been boy scouts in Warrensburg without him, Nor would the scouts in their regional conference be as vital and involved in their communities without him. He was a churchman of the highest order. Always giving time to help his church in a wide variety of ways. He was a man you could count on, without exception. Whenever Nikki and I hired him to build or reconstruct at our home, he was skilled, dedicated, and a joy to behold him using his many skills. The world, I am afraid, will never see another man like him. All this, and with grace and humor to match. God Bless him and the lovely family he leaves behind who are testament to his love and devotion as a father.

I am so honor, Raymond crossed my path in 2018. We have been close friends, going on outings, may it be visiting family, shopping and visiting friends. Raymond was my mentor, his compassion and love for life. He taught me many thanks. Raymond love visiting my family. One visit to the family, Raymond and my mother in law got talking they were born on the exact year and day. Both lived in Warrensburg, but never new each other until 2018, when Raymond and her path crossed. I loved it when, Raymond would speak of his journey and history of his past. Raymond may be in his next journey, but never forgotten in my heart. Thank you for your service

Very sad and shocked to hear of Ray's passing. He was a dear friend of both my parents John and Doreen Cooper and I can remember many different functions that they participated in as members of American Legion Post 446 in Warrensburg. I also remember participating with him and my dad on several coin drops. Ray also served as a member of the Legion color guard and was there for both of my parents services. My deepest condolences and prayers for his children in this time of loss and sorrow. Ray will be missed by us all and may he rest in peace and be granted entrance into heaven.

So sorry for your loss
I had the honor to be involved with Ray at many camporees and Scout functions as well as Beaver days and summer camp at Camp Wakpominee and I will never forget those times and always looked forward to these times. He inspired more youth and adults than neither him nor I can count.
