Obituary of Ivon H. Waldron
NORTH CREEK: Ivon H. Waldron, 79, of Bird Pond Rd., North Creek, NY, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023 after a brief illness.
Ivon was born on May 30, 1944 in Ticonderoga NY to the late Ivon D. and Cora P. (Knowlton) Waldron.
Ivon graduated from Johnsburg Central School in 1962. He also attended Adirondack Community College. He married his wife Rosalie on August 6, 1983. They were happily married for nearly 40 years. Ivon loved camping with Rosalie and family at Lewey Lake Campground in the Adirondacks. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, working outdoors. He faithfully watched Jeopardy.
Ivon was a 5th generation North Creek native. He enjoyed sharing his family history with his friends, children and grandchildren. Ivon worked at Johnsburg Central School in maintenance and bus driving for over 20 years. He was well liked and known to generations of students and faculty. He could build and fix nearly anything.
Besides his parents, Ivon was predeceased by sister’s Carol Thomas; Bonnie Brown, Evelyn Dingee, and Cora (Pinky) Waldron. Also several aunts, uncles, in-laws and friends.
Surviving Ivon is his wife Rosalie, children Kelly (Jon) Ladd, Todd (Wendy) Waldron and Andy (Tabatha) Baker. His grandchildren Tony (Tyanne) Ladd, Steven (Kaitlyn) Ladd, Alexis (Zach) Baker, Felicity Baker, Colby (Wesley) Baker, Autumn Baker, Ruby Waldron and Gareth Moses; sisters Sharon (Ken) Hammond and Ellen (Jim) French; brother-in-law’s Knox Brown, Bill Thomas, Edmund (Brenda) Morehouse, Bucky Morehouse, and Ronald (Bonnie) Morehouse; sister-in-law’s Evelyn (Howard) Tucker, Evelyn (Jim) Davis, Roberta Godbout, Diane Gijanto and Pam (Shorty) Granger; Uncle Herman Van Auken; good friend Perry Ball.

Friends may call on Ivon’s family from 1pm – 3pm, Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A memorial service will take place at 3pm following visitation with Pastor Arnold Stevens officiating.
A reception will be held at North Creek Fire House, Main St., North Creek, NY.
