I was fortunate enough to have known James and spent time around him growing up. He was kind and shared his vast knowledge of many subjects that he had learned through reading many books. He helped me to understand the importance of “escaping to another place “ by reading a book, and the importance of reading for knowledge about the world that we really live in.
I will always remember and respect his kind , quiet and thoughtful demeanor.
