Bill "Edbo" Edwards posted a condolence
Monday, January 17, 2022
I’m deeply saddened to hear of Jason’s battle with cancer and his untimely passing. Jason and I were stationed together as Jet Engine Mechanics at Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ in the early 90’s. We lived in the same dorm and shared a love of muscle cars and music together. Although time has passed by us, I recall good times, and treasured moments with Jason. I have fond memories of us rocking out to Ozzy while cruising in my Grand National, ironing our uniforms and shinning boots in my dorm room on Sunday nights, and theological discussing about God and life. Also, he was my Best Man at my wedding to Lynne! I will remember his smart wit, genuine smile, and great friendship. Katrina, Amasia-Jae, and Kayden, I pray God’s love comforts you during this time. I hope remembering the joyous times and cherished memories will continue to fill your hearts. With much love, God Bless- Bill “Edbo” Edwards

To all the Smith Family,
It was a great pleasure to have Jason as a constant presence in my childhood years. All the way back to pre-school. So many wonderful memories. He always wanted those around him to just be happy! When I think of him I see that smile. That infectious smile that beamed out to all around him. The last time we spoke that smile was brought to his face talking about his children. My heart goes out to all the Smith family and all those who love him as dearly as he loved. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Until we meet again Jason.........

Jason worked with us at Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ. He was not only a talented mechanic, he was a great friend to everyone. There were SO MANY little get-togethers both at work and at people's homes where he kept us in stitches with his humorous behavior. Knowing Jason as we did, I can guarantee he continued his joy for life after the Air Force.
Our condolences to all his family, current and past! Rock-On Jet Troop!!

Condolences from Uncle Nathan. I wish that I had the opportunity to get up there and visit more. Unfortunately, with this COVID going around and my own health issues I’ve been unable to visit. I miss everybody in my family that lives up in the scenic Adirondack Park. I’m definitely relieved that I have an opportunity to post this for all to read. With LOVE Uncle Nathan.
