Helen G. Urbanke, 97, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
Born November 8, 1923 in Warrensburg, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Davis) Bennett.
On November 22, 1941 she married Joseph Urbanke.
Helen worked at Warrensburg Central School for many years as their custodian. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and walking in the woods with her dogs, the loves of her life. She lovingly referred to them as her children.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by, her husband, Joe, her sister, Ellamae Terrell, and her nephew, Dusty Wood
Left to cherish her memory are sister, Rita Ackley, a sister in law, Patricia Drago, nieces, Connie Allen, Patty Muskus, and Phyllis Fortino, and nephew, Ted Ackley. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 11 am at Warrensburg Cemetery. No calling hours are scheduled.
