Donnie is my cousin. I grew up with him and the rest of Aunt Bertha's kids, have happy memories. . I went to my Grandma Potter's every Saturday and often spent time, walking up Potter Brook Road to go to Aunt Bertha's. He truly was a gentle giant. Godspeed, Donnie. Sincerest condolences

Donna, Jamie and family, Donnie and family, and Brian,
I’m so sorry about Uncle Donnie’s passing. I wish there was something more “original” to say because ‘I’m sorry’ isn’t enough to express how much I ache for you all.
I’m missing that man that I talked to on the phone almost daily: I’d answer, “Hello?” and he was always ready by answering, “Yup!”. I can’t express how much I miss that greeting.
I just want you all to know I love you very much and if there’s anything I can do, please let me know.
My sympathies, His niece, Cheryl

My heart is broken by loosing another great guy. Don was one of the hardest working men I have ever known. I always had great conversations with Don. He told me a story one time. He was having a bad day and got to the mill late in Ticonderoga. A new Trooper stopped him that was on the scales. The Trooper climbed up and told him to drive on the scales.. Don was used to getting his $150 ticket and being on his way. He grabbed the young trooper by the collar and told him to just give him his ticket..the trooper went back to his car and Don thinking he was going to jail when the trooper returned he gave Don his dr license and registration and his $150 ticket..Don was sweating and shaking the rest of the day...He never disrespected any Law Enforcement but we got a good laugh. Don was a gentle giant and I will always cherish his friendship. My sincere condolences to all the family . Rest In Paradise Don..until we meet again.
