Dear Mary and all of your extended (and extensive family):
Pat Leonard was a pivotal role model for me. Fifteen years younger, I found her activities including golf, cross-country skiing, and her active writing life into her 90's amazing. I want to be as vital, vivacious, talented, and charming as she was! She epitomized aging gracefully and gratefully. I never heard her complain or use advancing age as an excuse to opt out of anything, She was, in short, truly a Renaissance Woman. I feel blessed to have known her and sad, with you, at her loss. She will long be remembered by those of us who were fortunate enough to know her even a little bit. Thanks for sharing her with the world!
