I didnt know Renee well only passing by in the cafeteria or hallways and saying hi quickly she was always very nice ....always said hi God bless her and her whole family.... So sorry for your loss !!!!

Renee' was one of my first friends after moving to New York. She had an easy laugh and was always fun to be around. My condolences to her family, I'm sorry for your loss.

To the Lafond family, I am sorry for your loss. Renee to me was a coworker, roommate, and most importantly she was my best friend. She would stop whatever she was doing if you needed help. There are so many great memories and LAFOND moments as we called them but one that meant the most was one of my birthday gifts, and it wasn’t the gift itself. Renee knew how particular I am and especially when wrapping gifts. She thought she was being funny but she wrapped my gift using magazine paper from work, perfectly wrapped. She used shredded paper to make a bow. I am sure she was laughing the entire time while doing this but I thought it was the most thoughtful and unique gift ever. I know she meant it as a joke but it meant so much more to me. There were so many little things she did that meant so much more. I will truly miss Renee.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Renee. She was a great friend and always fun to be around. We will miss her famous bonfires on the lake, and her carefree way of playing poker – bet the pot was her famous saying!
