I feel so lucky to have grown up in a small town like ours where beautiful people like Virginia Armstrong opened their homes and their hearts to the community. I’ll always remember going to Phil and Virginia’s house with my parents to play and sing gospel music with Tommy Butler and Danny McKee. How Phil and Virginia loved that music! I love the legacy of music that Virginia gave to her children and grandchildren. Thinking of all the Armstrongs today and sending much love. -Audrey Dunkley Boettcher
