To Gary and family , I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Hoopie and Aunt Joan. They were the last of the Colton brother generation. I hope they are having a fun reunion with everyone. Those family reunions were always fun. They were 2 my favorite people. Aunt Joan was so stylish and Uncle Hoopie was a gentle soul. They were always smiling and caring. They will always have a special place in my heart. Love Joanne Colton(Wayne)-Weber and family.

Gary and family, we are very sorry about Aunt Joan and Uncle Hoopie's passing. They were 2 of my favorite people. I loved to watch them dance. They would tear up the dance floor and they were always so stylish. So many memories from my childhood. I loved to come up and visit them. My son and daughter also loved them. My daughter and dad got to spend some time with them soon before my dad passed. I'm glad my children had the honor of knowing them also. Mom sends her love and sympathies. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and that your parents will always be cherished in our memories. Love, Linda & Mike Huguley, Jason & Ashley Foss, Fran Lawrence, Jeff & Jenn Lawrence.

Hoopie Colton was a fabulous and fun local Father to know as we all grew up in the North Creek way of life..
Sweet memories of he and Joanie center stage at Basil and Wick's. happily dancing the night away on many Saturday nights. Handsome and beautiful together....they were a testimony to the entire town of true and dedicated marital love.
Hoopie skiing past us on the trails at "Little Gore" in his ski patrol jacket motioning for us to slow down ...and always with his gentle great smile..
Hoopie and Joan cheering us on at our JCS games even if they didn' t have a kid on the team. They made sure everyone had a ride home even if they drove them there in the back of Hoopie's truck.
"Love makes memories eternal"..
And Hoopie... You left us " North Creek Kids " with some very special childhood memories....❤
