Marlene Greco of Geneva, New York posted a condolence

Clare will be sadly missed by those who knew her in Geneva, New York.
She made many, many friends.
Clare had a great love for children, and children were welcome to visit her at any time.
She was very adventurous, and faced every learning experience as a challenge.
Many people of Clare's age would say "I am too old to learn that".
Not Clare!
She was very proficient on the computer. She knew how to email her friends and family, and she was anxious to learn more about the computer.
We had much in common, including our great love of music, art, and studying the Victorian era.
Our condolences go out to the family.
Sincerely,
Jim and Marlene Greco

Clare was our firm's first, and only retiree. As chief of protocol, etiquette and all things proper, she kept our new young employees on the straight and narrow. No one dared misbehave around Clare. Her protocols are still part of PDA company legacy. She was also a good friend, dear listener and so practical. Her love for her father in his later days made us all aware of the need to be good to our own parents. God Love you Clare.

To the family of Clare La Bar.
We will certainly miss Clare.
When she first moved to Geneva. Her first stop was the Library to get a Library Card. We became instant friends. As Clare loved to put puzzles together.
Looking for home interior books on decorating her new home "The Brewster" as she called it..
She spent many a happy hour at the libarary.
Clare became a surrogate Grandmother to our daughter Madison.
Our Prayers are with you today.
