Hudson Falls/Minerva:
Nicholas Todd Persons, five years old, of Hudson Falls and Minerva, went into the loving arms of the lord on Thursday, December 25, 2008 following a brief illness.
Born in Albany on February 28, 2003, he was the beloved son of Andrea Marie Leombruno of Hudson Falls, and Todd James Persons of Minerva.
He attended kindergarten at Minerva Central School.
Nicholas brought sunshine and joy to everyone he knew. He enjoyed anything pertaining to Scooby Doo. He was an adventurous little boy who loved riding his four wheeler, scooter, and snowmobile. He especially liked going to Daddy's camp and being at the ocean with Mommy. Nicholas loved eating chicken with hot sauce or spaghetti, which lead to his infamous nickname "Poosketti.”
Survivors besides his parents and his twin "brudder," Christopher James Persons; his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Rodonna Leombruno of Hudson Falls; his great-grandmother, Hazel Rockefeller; his paternal grandparents, George and Martha Persons of Bakers Mills; his great-grandmother, Emily "G.G." Christopher; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
Friends may call on Nicholas’s family from 5-7 pm, Thursday evening at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A memorial service to celebrate Nicholas’s life will follow the visitation at 7pm at the funeral home, with Rev. Ronald Allen, Pastor of the Sodom Community Church, officiating.
