Margot W. Johnson, 84, of Truesdale Hill Road, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2009 at the Glens Falls Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Wiesbaden, Germany on March 20, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Margarete (Horn) Keiper.
As a long time resident of the Lake George area, Margot quickly became well known for her talent as an artist, which she pursued throughout her lifetime.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Margit Galvin of York, ME, and her grandson, Jeffrey Galvin of Longmont, CO.
At Margot’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled.
Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
