Wanda and John were dear friends of my Parents Vernon & Normalea Balch. I remember seeing Wanda at the Diner and always had a smile and yes, a twinkle in her eye. Such a wonderful person, and friend to so many. Thoughts and Prayers to the family during this time

I met Wanda in 2006 when I joined the MSO & The Sleeping Giant's group here in Minerva. Come to find out she lived in Westchester County, N.Y. & volunteered at the FDR VA Hospital in Montrose, N.Y. where I worked after I got out of the Army. She loved it up here in the Adk's. and loved to go to Pitkin's in Schroon Lake every day to eat lunch with. John. What a remarkable lady who has taught me a few things over 10 years. I will cherish the conversations that we had, she always made me smile (she had a twinkle in her eye)which meant everything is OK
