Obituary of Chuck D. Warrington

Johnsburg: Charles D. “Chuck” Warrington, 56, of Collignon Lane, passed away after being stricken Saturday, March 7, 2015. Born October 20, 1958 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Douglas and Leona “Sis” (Secor) Warrington. Chuck was a lifelong resident of the area. He married Sherry Arnold on June 17, 1989 at the Sodom Community Church. Chuck was a dedicated employee at Gore Mountain Ski Center for 34 years. In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by his sister, Christine Morehouse, and an infant brother, Allen Warrington. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Sherry Warrington of Johnsburg; a son, Michael Warrington of Johnsburg; a brother, Kenneth Warrington and his wife, Tressa “Marge”, of FL, a sister, Evelyn Goodspeed and her husband, Buck, of North Creek; in-laws, Charlie and Rita Arnold of Olmstedville; brother-in-law, Larry Arnold and his wife, Kathy, of Olmstedville. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial gathering to celebrate Chuck's life will be celebrated from 4 to 7 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Wevertown Courthouse, Route 28, Wevertown. Family and friends in attendance are encouraged to bring a dish as well as a memory.
