Obituary of Randy K. Converse

Warrensburg: Randy K. Converse, 57, of Alden Avenue, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 after being stricken at his home. Born May 4, 1956 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Arnold E. and Doris J. (Fuller) Converse. Randy attended Warrensburg Central School, where he excelled academically as well as athletically and received several awards for his achievements. Following his high school graduation in 1974, he began working for International Paper in Corinth. He later worked for Kubricky Construction in Queensbury for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as fishing, watching his favorite sports on TV, and visiting with his many friends about town. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Anthony Converse. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Ashley Mulholland, her husband, Greg, and granddaughter Colea, all of Poultney, VT; his brothers, Larry A. Converse and his wife, Penny of Plattsburg, Brian E. Converse and his wife, Jonna of Warrensburg, and Kelly H. Converse and his wife, Florence of Chestertown; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and his lifelong friend, Slugger Corlew. Friends may call on Randy’s family from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, February 21, 2014, at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
