MICHELLE AND FAMILY,
I am sitting here with a broken heart tonight at hearing of my friend Carol passing....so many years and so many memories. I remember when ahe introduced us at teh Ashe's Hotel close to 19 years ago. She was a sweet lady and a good friend....we talked about you alot, she thought the world of her children...you were the jewel in her life....She was always there to lend a hand to anyone without thinking of herself...The north country has lost a very special lady....I will think of her often....

Hi kids...it is a very sad thing that happened to your mom. She was a very nice person and I do not believe the world is a better place without her. She was very kind to me when I was a sad and lonely little girl when my family was trying to recover from my sister's death. As a mother, I think she did the very best she could. The deck was stacked against her from the start. Carol tried very hard to better herself. I remember her going to science classes at JCS, as a returning adult, when I was a teen there. Do you have any idea how hard that must have been for her?
I remember her as sweet and kind and I'm sorry that she is gone and also very sorry for the deep personal loss that you are all experiencing right now.
I do promise you however that in time some of the pain will recede as will pangs of guilt which are inevitable and usually unearned in situations like this and you will think of your mom and grandmother and think of only the happy times.
