Margaret Gallagher, 99, formerly of Stony Creek Road, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2005 at the Adirondack Tri-County Health Care Center in North Creek.
Born January 15, 1906 in Essen, Germany, she was the daughter of John and Gertrude Hilge.
Margaret owned and operated various restaurants throughout New York, working with her late husbands, William Bartholmes and Joseph Gallagher.
She leaves behind her nephew, Kurt H. Urban of Hadley; grand nephews and nieces, Larry Urban and his wife, Jacqui of Dunedin, FL, Kurt Urban and his wife, Mallena and their son, Kurt Jr. of Melbourne, FL, Adam Urban and his wife, Rose of Port St. Lucie, FL, Priscilla Wagner and her husband, Richard and their daughters, Jennifer and Kristyn of Hudson Falls.
Friends may call on Margaret’s family from 5-7 pm Friday, January, 13, 2006 at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 am Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the funeral home.
Rite of committal will take place in the Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
