Oh my gosh, Milda Burns was so fun to have as a friend and to visit !!!!...We never left her home without new info about the log driving days on the Hudson and the latest North River news.. She always cried softly when she talked about her husband Jim.. Milda had a twinkle in her eye, a keen recollection of sweet family memories and a wonderful kind heart........ .See you in heaven dear friend..

Mary: I was sorry to read of the death of your Aunt. It is very hard when all of your elder relatives are all gone, as are mine, also. I have wondered for years about your life after high school: where you live, about your family, etc.. I am a widow, and live in Queensbury. May God be with you in your grief! Hilda Cross Pratt.

Milda, you entered our lives 11yrs ago but I felt like I knew you most of my life. We shared some really good times together at the Outreach Center with Janie, and we covered a variety of topics, both laughing and crying, but always fun. You told me things you said you never shared with anyone and I respect that. You have left an impression we hold very dear to our hearts. Thank You. I am sure Jim welcomed you with open arms and you are together again, resting in peace with the one you loved the most. Till we meet again. Linda & Stevie Walters

Today the Adirondack Mountain Garden Club lost a dedicated member, loyal friend and avid gardener. Milda was a dear friend, a mentor and the reason that I joined the club.
Milda was also a supporter of Warrensburgh Beautification Inc., attending annual meetings, supporting local farms at our Riverfront Farmers' Market and sharing stories during Christmas in Warrensburgh.
Her passion for gardening will live on in all of the lives she touched and plants she shared.
