Warrensburg: Douglas E. “Bud” Wilde, 67, of River Street, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Elderwood of North Creek following a brief illness. Born August 25, 1950 in Corinth, he was the son of the late Douglas and Roberta (Moulton) Wilde. At the age of 8, he and his family relocated to Warrensburg. He graduated from Warrensburg Central School in 1968 and began his working years at General Electric in Hudson Falls. He was a jack of all trades but a master of none. He worked as a stone mason, machinist, bartender, and painter throughout the years. Bud was a gentle soul who loved country music and hanging with his friends. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, John Wilde, sister-in-law, Jane Wilde and brother-in-law, Joe Smarro. He is survived by two siblings, Valerie (Wilde) Smarro and Jim Wilde, both of Thurman; uncle, Henry Moulton of Warrensburg; brother-in-law, Chuck Bederian; niece, Kate Bederian; nephews, John Bederian, Josh Wilde, and Jake Wilde; as well as many cousins and good friends.
