Marie was a special person and tended the garden at Sacred Heart when I was pastor. I always came back to visit her when in the area. Her simple and gracious presence was a tribute to the person she was. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
Sweet Marie, I will miss you and always love you dearly. Knowing you has been a lesson of love, endurance, and faith in the Lord. You are forever in my heart, and we will meet again!
Marie was a member of our quilting group (Chestertown) for many years. Her quilts were just beautiful. Her flower gardens ---phenomenal! A very gifted lady and it was a gift to know her.
