Obituary of Belva P. Archambeau

Olmstedville: Pauline Archambeau, 75, of Olmstedville, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning march 30, 2010 at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing Home in North Creek. Born in Olmstedville on May 4th, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Ella (Galusha) Hayes. Pauline was a 1952 graduate of Minerva Central School and in that same year, she married Edward Archambeau on December 21. The two enjoyed a happy marriage for almost 30 years, raising a family of nine children. Over the years, Pauline enjoyed playing bingo and pinochle, scratching off lottery tickets, driving her “taxi”, eating out and spending time with her family. Besides her parents, Pauline is predeceased by her husband Edward and her brother Merton Hayes. She is survived by two sisters: Frances Frisbee of North Creek and Etta Gregory of Dannamora. Pauline is also survived by five daughters and four sons: Paula Olesheski of North Creek; Tina Kellar and her husband Peter of Lake George; Lisa LaFountain and husband Randy, of North Creek; Rebecca Dunbar and her husband, Clyde of Olmstedville; Margaret Prosser and her husband, Ron of Hudson Falls; Howard Archambeau and his wife, Donna of Warrensburg; Paul Archambeau and his wife, Linda of Allyn, WA; John Archambeau and his companion, Nancy of North Creek; and Andrew Archambeau of Chestertown. Pauline was also the proud grandparent of: Jason Waters and his wife, Karen; Christian Waters and his wife, Christine; Peter Olesheski and his wife, Heather; Mary Millington and her husband, Hawk; Nobilee Archambeau, Adam Archambeau, Raymond Bohmer and his companion, Sarah; Stephen Bohmer, Randy LaFountain, Rebecca LaFountain and her companion, Shawn; Robert LaFountain, TJ Holland, James Holland, Patricia Holland, Joanne Holland, Johnnie Sue Archambeau, Josh Archambeau, Cody Dunbar, Brandon Dunbar, Toni Dunbar, Conner Prosser and Marcus Prosser. She was further blessed with a total of 16 great grandchildren, as well as, many nieces and nephews. Pauline’s family would like to thank the staff at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their outstanding care of Mom during her stay there. Friends may call on Pauline’s family from 12 to 2 pm, Friday, April 2, 2010 at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A funeral service to celebrate her life will follow the visitation at 2 pm, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Newcomb Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pauline’s memory can be made to Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 112 Ski Bowl Road, North Creek, NY 12853.
