Queensbury:
June Ann (Foote) Fuller, 65, of Dix Avenue, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at her home, following a long illness.
Born June 1, 1949 in North Creek at her family’s home, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ada (Morse) Foote.
June was a graduate of Pottersville Central School.
She previously worked for Continental Insurance, and was most recently employed by Roberts Gardens South and North, where she treated the tenants and employees alike, as they were family, even after her retirement in 2010.
Besides spending time with her son and beloved grandson, June enjoyed spending time outside in the sun, gardening, landscaping, traveling, and fast cars. She loved caring for her home, cooking for her son, her wood fireplace, and strong coffee.
Strong willed, but soft hearted, June was gifted with quick wit, sarcasm, and the ability to both earn and give great respect, all whilst never judging those she came across. She also took great pride in her family history and roots.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Philip Foote, a sister-in-law, Vivian Foote.
She is survived by her son, Jason Fuller of Herndon, VA; a grandson, Riley Fuller; two brothers, Robert Foote of Minerva and Brian Foote and his companion, Bonnie Bisallion of North Creek. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, and her beloved four legged companion, her dog, Jada.
Friends may call on June’s family from 4 to 6 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2015, at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will immediately follow the visitation at 6 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home with Rev. Ronald Burdett, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Warrensburg, officiating.
A graveside service will be conducted in the spring in Union Cemetery, North Creek.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in her memory to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601
June’s family would like to extend their deepest heartfelt gratitude to Jackie Deppe, Virgil Harris, and Shannon Jacobsen, for the exceptional care they provided in her final years.
