Obituary of Katherine Ann Converse

Hudson Falls: Katherine Ann (Kathy) Converse, 44, of School Street, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 23, 2007 after being stricken at her home. Born January 18, 1963 in Albany, she was the daughter of Dorothy Heidorf and the late Thomas Heidorf. Kathy attended Argyle High School, received her GED and began her working years with Bard, Nemec, CB Sports, Head Start and was licensed to work at the Landing of Glens Falls. She married Alan B. Converse on September 9, 1981. Kathy loved her family, enjoyed music, drawing, jet skiing, world traveling and collecting Santa Clause and dragon figurines. Besides her father, her father in law, Barry Converse has also predeceased her. Kathy leaves behind her devoted husband of 26, years, Alan B. Converse; her mother, Dorothy; her beloved children, Makayla Char Converse and Courtney and her fiancé, Glen Shaw, Wesley Converse; her brothers, Hank, Chris, Dick, Dave, Phil, Hud, Harry; her sisters, Pat, Sue, Jane and Barb; mother in law, Roberta (Bobby) Converse; sisters and brothers in law, Lalonie, Knox, Tyler and Valerie; other grieving friends include, Teresa, Claire, Bob, Chad and Gary. Friends may call on Kathy’s family from 6-8 pm Wednesday evening at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place at 2 pm Thursday at the Warrensburg Cemetery.
