Obituary of Joshua R. Bump

Minerva: Joshua Ross Bump, 32, of Route 28N, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at his home. Born October 15, 1981 in Ticonderoga, he was the son of Jerry R. Bump of Schroon Lake and Jennifer R. (Fish) Jordon of Milton, VT. Josh was a graduate of Minerva Central School, and employed by Gore Mountain Ski Center as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, spelunking, skiing, and riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his brothers and his cousins. Josh was predeceased by his grandfathers, Lloyd W. Fish and Roger R. Bump, grandmother, Mita M. Bump, and his aunt, Barbara Venner. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Jerry R. Bump, Jr. and Joseph R. Bump, both of Hampton, VA; his sister, Kelli Root-Smith of Hudson Falls; and his maternal grandmother, Helen Fish of Minerva. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Josh’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled.
