Warrensburg:
Josephine (Nowoslawski) Lace, 89, of Warrensburg, formerly of Lake George, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the eldest daughter of Mathew and Victoria (Alexandrowicz) Nowoslawski. She outlived all of her siblings.
She was the wife of Philip Lace, who died in 1989. Together they built and operated the Sequoia Motel in Lake George. She resided in Warrensburg for the past 10 years with her son, Brian.
She leaves her children, Patricia C. Cassell and her husband, Douglas, of Sherborn, MA, Carolyn J. Cirando and her husband, John, of Syracuse, Richard P. Lace and his wife Cheryl, of Schenectady, Brian W. Lace of Warrensburg. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Jean Noval of Loch Sheldrake; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of her life will take place at Sacred Heart Church, Lake George on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 10:00am.
Followed by a graveside service in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Warrensburg. There are no calling hours scheduled.
