NANCY AND TOMMY, IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE WE MADE SNOW FORTS AND SMOKED STICKS AS cigarettes. I LOVED YOUR DAD AS IF HE WERE MY OWN. YOUR FAMILY KEPT ME SAFE, WHETHER YOU KNEW IT OR NOT. Please accept my deepest sympathies on behalf of the Officers and Crew of the Albany/Saratoga Base of the United State Submarine Veterans. Ray served his country in times of ultimate peril and in the face of war. He proudly rose at our meetings to be recognized as a WWII Veteran. Margaret and Family, I am sadden to learn of Rays passing. What a great man he was. Although it has been a few years you both have been in my thoughts. Always remember the GREAT times we shared as THE ST .CECILIAS FAMILY. I will never forget his wonderfull singing at the parties,or sharing the stories about the kids, and the dances you all shared with me in my time of need. Margaret the memories just go on and on, if there is any thing that I could possibly do please do not hesitate to let me know.
