Charles E. Haskell, Jr., 24, of Mountain Road, passed away, Thursday, September 21, 2006 at the Glens Falls Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Warrensburg.
Born May 23, 1982 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Charles and Heidi (Rounds) Haskell Sr.
Chuck attended Warrensburg Central School and excelled in the football program.
He enjoyed spending time with his children, family, friends, fishing, hunting and collecting swords and knives.
Chuck was currently employed as a folk lift operator with TBB Crafts Lumber, Inc in Warrensburg.
He was a member of the Haskell Brothers Post 4821, VFW in Warrensburg.
He married Jamie Millington of Thurman on December 26, 2000.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Linda Haskell; maternal grandparents, George and Pansy Rounds; uncles, Ray Haskell and James Rounds.
Survivors include his wife, Jamie; son, Chucky, daughter, Tanisha all of Thurman; his father, Charles Haskell Sr. of Thurman; his mother, Heidi Haskell and her companion, Leroy Bills, Sr. of Stony Creek; sister, Rosalee Daly and her husband, Chris of Thurman; brother, Dustin Haskell and his companion, Janine of Warrensburg; sister, Katie Watkins and companion, Josh of Thurman; brother, Carl Watkins and his companion, Olivia of Hudson Falls; sister, Holly Haskell and step brother, Jimmy Jay both of South Glens Falls; former step mother, Dee Haskell of South Glens Falls; mother in law, Debra Millington of Thurman; friend, Carl Watkins Sr. of Thurman; two nieces and three nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call on the family from 4-7 pm Sunday evening at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7 pm Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Herrmann, Pastor of the Thurman Baptist Church officiating.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Haskell Bros. Post 4921, VFW Hall following the funeral services.
