To The Family of Mrs. Madelyn M. Buckley
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you.
Although we are not acquainted with one another, we are acquainted with the pain when our loved ones fall asleep in death.
At Matthew 6:10 Jesus taught us to pray for God's Kingdom to come here upon the earth as it is in the heavens.
The fact that the the heavens is peaceful, no sickness, death, etc. is surely a place where we would like to be. So when we pray for these conditions to come on the earth, we are asking God to restore the earth back to its original condition when he created the first Man and Woman.
That Kingdom will be a reality here on the earth.
The Scriptures promises that the day is soon to come in which death will be no more and that Almighty God Jehovah will wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes forever. (Revelation 21:3-5)
He promises too that your loved ones, my loved ones and many others will hear his voice and come out of the memorial tombs (graves) to live in heaven-like conditions right here on the earth. (John 5:28,29; Psalms 37:29)

I was truly saddened to learn of Madelyn's passing. Although I know the last few years hadn't been her best ones, I most often think of her in the years when she and her family lived in Glens Falls. We all spent so many happy times together, often at my Aunt Lee and Uncle Jimmy's house, but sometimes at the Lake, or the Balloon Festival, and one famous Balloon Fest party at Madelyn's house.
I'm thinking too, of all of you: Dennis, Diane, Terry, Joan, and your families. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope it brings you comfort remembering so many happy times with your Mom, and knowing how many of us have fond thoughts of her.

Dear Joan and Dianne,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We will always remember the happy, beautiful light spirit Madelyn had, often surprising us with the most amazing remarks, while we sneeked-in a bite of her much-loved p-butter sandwich! She is at peace at last!

My dearest 'Mrs B',
You enriched my life for over four decades with your humor, your smile, dinner at the Buckley kitchen table on Cooper, sharing family holiday get togethers, drives-adventures with Joan and Di and your most special love. I will miss you terribly. Thank you so much for being an important part of my life.
My love and heart pour out to your wonderful family.
With love and sadness, Les

My Grandmother was an amazing woman who I always enjoyed spending time with. Our special times included taking the bus to the park, the mall, and the library. She also got me addicted to the soap opera, Days of Our Lives that we used to watch together. My Grandmother was a second mother to me, and also one of my best friends. She will be missed immensely and always loved.
