Our brother in law's Dad, Ray Donohue, was a wonderful role model for all of us. Deeply devoted to his family and nature, he lived a long and loving life. We are grateful to have made memories with him and his wife Dorothy. Our sympathy is with his family and friends as they say good-bye at this time.

Had several cups of tea with Raymond, always at Milda's. It's hard to be sad about someone who had such a full life and left such an indelible mark (not counting the one's on the banister or the River House). I know what a loss it must be for the family and especially for Milda who knew him such a long time. Remember the good times and know that are payers are for Raymond and all of you. Ray Donahue was an unforgettable guy... He stayed positive and full of fun well into his last moments of life..
Milda...You always were a wonderful caring sister to him .
I always loved to listen to both of you as you retold the stories of your North River childhood and the tales of Dthe log drivers as they floated down the Hudson River..

Ray was my step-grandfather, but I always thought of him as a grandfather. He bought me my first pocket knife, taught me how to ride a moped, introduced me to ice fishing and even showed me how to grow my own potatoes! He (and Mimi) took my Mother, Sister and I in as one if their own, and I'll always appreciate that.
Ray was one of the most jolly, generous and funny people I have ever met, and will ever meet. I have so many fond memories of Ray (and Mimi) and will forever cherish their kindness and generous ways.
If my grandchildren think of me with even half of the respect and love I have for Ray (and Mimi), I will be a very lucky man.
My wife and oldest son (now 8) had the pleasure of knowing Ray, and his memory will forever live on in our family.

Milda and all of Ray's family I was very sorry to hear of his passing but then remembered all the good times and things he had done in his long life. He was a very fortunate man indeed to have lived in a place called Tahawus with his family and loving wife Dorothy. Sympathy to you all and Milda I know how much you will miss your big brother's visits and talks. Love to you all Olga
