Marguerite “Shorty” (Peg) Porter Rockwell, 90, passed away June 19, 2007 in
Phoenix, AZ.
She was a resident of Warrensburg, until 1952, she then resided in Crown Point, IN, and settled in Phoenix, AZ 2001.
Preceded in death by her husband Lester (Rocky) Rockwell, her mother
and father Mary and Clarence Porter and her brother Clarence Porter Jr.
She is survived by her children: Judith Goodrich (Ed) Galen of Akron, OH, Vicki (John) Sells of Richfield, MN, Mary Southern of Phoenix, AZ, Lester (Cynthia) Rockwell Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN, Barbara (Gary) Ellery of Phoenix, AZ. Grandchildren: Mark (Sue) Schmidt, Cyndy (Bob) Muenster, Stacy (Marty) Holloway, Jonathan (Allison) Sells, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Sells, Jessica Sells, Megan Southern, Dr. Alison Southern, Marina (Mike) Niemchick, Leslie(Marvin) Smith, Jadriene Ellery and numerous great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at the Warrensburg Cemetery, Hudson Street, Warrensburg, on July 16, 2007 at 11:30 AM with the Rev. Dawn Robbins officiating.
