P.S. If any Parker descendents are ever interested in family history, I have 16" by 19" portraits of Zenas, Rachel and one or two other Parkers in large fancy frames.
THEse are stored away at present because there isn't enough room to hang them here.
However they will be donated to the historical society soon and they have selected the walls they will hang them on in their building.

Didn't know Harry very well, just when he stopped in the store occasionally.
He stopped this summer after he finished mowing and we talked for a few minutes.
Believe he was born in my grandmothers house on the campsite road. Mother wrote that my grandmother took care of Florence and the baby after he was born.
Grandmother was born a Parker. Her grandparents were Zenas and Rachel Dornberg Parker. They were among the first newcomb settlers, about 1844.
Zenas was English and Rachel was Dutch.
Rachel never laughed out loud but when she laughed, her whole body shook.
