Warrensburg:
Barbara L. Holden, 72, of Hoffman Drive, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital Community Hospice following a long illness.
Born February 26, 1946 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Meada Pratt.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Warrensburg Central School.
Besides spending time with her family, Barb enjoyed knitting, crocheting, coloring, and spoiling her beloved pets.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Donald Holden and daughter, Wendy Sue Pratt.
She is survived by her siblings, Brian Pratt and his wife, Joy of Troy; Lutheria Pratt of Warrensburg; granddaughter, Kimberly Pratt and her fiancé, Dave Cannon of Ft. Meyers, FL; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call on Barb’s family from 11 am to 1 pm, Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will immediately follow the visitation at 1 pm, at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Andrews, Pastor of the Warrensburg First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Warrensburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the SPCA of Upstate New York, 588 Queensbury Ave., Queensbury, NY 12804.
