Ijust wanted to let you know what a pleasure it was knowing Velda. I helped take care of her while she was in the hospital on 3WB. She always had a smile on her face and could always make you smile. We also got to take care of Don while he was here also. They were the most terrific couple together. I was so sad to hear of Velma's passing. She was a wonderful person and she will be missed by everyone that knew her. My hearfelt sympathy goes out to all of her family. Every time I see a flower I will think of Velda. She had a garden on her windowsill while she was at GFH. I am so sorry for your loss.

My heartfelt condolences to Uncle Donny, Janet and David, David and Nancy, Julie, Jen, Kate, Luke and Adam, and the rest of our family. Aunt Velda was like a grandmother to me. I cherish the memories I have of time spent at the farm house, camp, Thanksgiving dinners around that huge dining room table, the horses, the dogs (house and barn), the fishing pond, the little camp on the other side of the creek . . . I wish I could be there with you all to celebrate her life, and to mourn her passing. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lyn
