Agnes Rose Mather, 89, formerly of 14th Road, passed away, peacefully, January 12, 2009 at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Creek.
Born on March 4, 1919 in Addison, VT, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Eva (Bruno) Nichols.
Besides her parents, Agnes is predeceased by her husband, Leroy; her son, Alan; her brothers: Vernon, James, and Harry “Fred” Nichols.
Survivors include her children: Barbara Slider and her husband, Arthur of Deming, NM; Charles Mather and his wife, Gladys of Deming, NM; Marylou Olden and her husband, Arnold of Minerva; Leroy Mather Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; and Nancy Smith of Red Oak, TX; along with 15 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
At Agnes’s request, there will be no calling hours and a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Creek, who took such great care of Agnes during her stay.
