On a whim, I Googled The Elbow Room in Mt. Kisco, to see if it was still in business. I found this obituary for Lois Trumble. I want to thank her and her family for The Elbow Room. I often think about the memories created there. The juke box was loaded with great music and the bar tender was one of the best. It was our go-to place back in the day. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Dear Joyce and Gaylord Our hearts go out to you at your loss. Only time will help ease your pain. Mom's are special we seem to miss them the most. Thank goodness for the hope Jesus gave us at John 5:28&29 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. Those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. All our love Dennis and Jo Ann

Joyce,
I am thinking about you and remembering the good times we had on Williams St. your brother and I were good friends and I will always remember your Mom and her friendly smile. Time seems to go so fast and yet the memories really stay with us and that is a good thing because it keeps all of us close to the days gone by even though it seems like yesturday when your Mom was walking by to go to the Auto story and when your brother was telling me what boys not to bother with and your Mom would just laugh at his advice as he would tell me what to do.
Joyce I know this is a hard time for you and if there is anything I can do let me know my prayers are with you and I will pray for the wonderful person that your Mom was and that she is at peace.
Love,
Nancy

Dear Joyce,
You mother was such a part of my childhood and especially my teen years with my close friendship with Allen (the ever remembered as Tillie from an Old Maid Card Game). She was so warm and welcoming and so pretty. I was glad I got to see her from time to time in Warrensburg. I am praying for you to walk the grief journey with grace and peace,
Fondly, Sally

May the cherished memories of Lois fill your hearts with warmth and strenght to overcome your pain. May the promise made by Christ in John 5:28,29 give you hope to see your loved ones again. All those sleeping in their graves will wake up and sing for joy. As the sparkling dew refreshes the earth, so the Lord will revive those who have long been dead."-Isa. 26:19
